Notes
This was my 1st hill workout during the marathon training. The goal is to build strength in the legs. It was a nice cario workout too, especially the short steep hill. I was actaully a bridge that connected Lockport with Plainfield. I felt the lactic acid building up toward the end and I still had a little soreness from the 13 miler from Sunday. I think I'm going to switch my long runs to Saturdays.
During the run, I tried to hit the lap button at the same spot. I think I'll do a better job of that next time. There aren't many hills or long hills in IL, so this one was pretty good. It was a bridge so there were drivers the whole time crossing the bridge. It was kind of motivating because you know someone was watching you, even though I didn't know any of them. Over half were on the cell chatting away.
Tomorrow I'm going to take it easy and do a slow short run with some core.
