43 degrees but not windy. Maybe cold temp was part of the problem. I noticed it was a little tight and I thought it would loosen up. It gradually got worse and then suddenly was tugging so I had to walk the last 2.5 miles back to the car.
I don't think it was overuse, I had no problems after 4 consecutive run days. It was just a little tight when I started and it got worse.
The problem is the bottom of the calf, I guess it might be the top of the Achilles, but it feels like a muscle issue and not a tendon issue.
