Rain ... rain and more rain.

I am fighting tooth ache over the last 48 hrs. So, I have been up during the night feeling sorry for myself and taking painkillers. Not that they work. So I cannot enjoy food or drink and lacking my beauty sleep. I do not wish to anyone having this pain. My dental app. is too long to wait for and the pain is ruthless.

I cannot believe in this state of affairs I used running as my painkiller. I had to run to forget the pain. Running kills not just the physical pain but also the emotional and accumulation of stress too. The Hallux Rigidus allowed me to run as it always does. For some reason I am lame walking but I can run without much pain. Discomfort yes but no extreme pain.

It has not been my best last two months in all matters. But I am still running and fighting my battles.

A marathon seems so far away and so close. Running is in me in a 'funny' sort of way.

So, I met with Jimmy the horse and OMG the apples and carrots I gave him and the XX I got in return. Franc would have not believed that Jimmy today almost galloped towards me in the field. He was making loud sounds too ...sounds of excitement. Horses are more clever than people.

I had a lovely time taking care of him and feeding him all the goodies in the rain. I was soaked to the bone and treasured my hot shower in the end. The toothache still strong.

First week that my running miles are up to two digit numbers. Every mile and every step tells a story. The story of my life.
