First run or part of this run with Franc since the 1st Jan 2011 at Lowell / MA. Franc run with me up hill for 1.3 miles and then returned whilst I carried on towards what I name as the Frankie course. Today temperatures are low nearing 0 C and there was a cold rain at times alternating with the light of an 'artificial' kind of sun. It was beautiful looking down from up the hill. The first thing came to mind was how lucky I am that I am away from the Tread Mill machine. I took notice of everything around me and was delighted no matter the weather. I was in bliss and wanted to run and run. Of course I cannot do this as yet so I had to use the mind again and contain myself, so I compromised with a 6 miler. CS was there at most times on the right leg and around the soleus area / inner side of the leg. It is sore pending on ground incline and speed. No issues with the fracture because the night I used the tread mill it really bothered me. So, all is going fine. It is Saturday and I feel great. Franc did a total of 2.6 today which is a great improvement towards building up gradually. He is hopefully on the way to recovery. 2012 it has to be a better Running Year for Us Both. If feels such a long time for me since I run without worries but in a way I have come to LOVE RUNNING EVEN MORE.
