Notes

I was meant to return to Scotland but due to significant railway disruption due to harsh weather conditions, I am staying put. Excessive flooding in many parts of U.K has caused massive upheaval to all travellers.

So, I am still running in Coventry and around the city but mainly at the Memorial Park (my favourite place to be). What a gorgeous day weatherwise has turned to be here at this moment. It will be short lived.

This was a very pleasurable run with the sun shining throughout it. no hale stones, no wind, no snow freezing rain. It is cold but very pleasurable. I feel strong and going into a zone. What a lovely feeling.

Evgenia and I spent 4 hrs in front of the T.V watching the Winter Olympics / Men's single Figure Skating. Wow!! It is very emotional especially Plashenko's unexpected farewell. Emotions cannot be expressed with words. It must have been the most difficult moment / decision for Plashenko to say 'NO' to entering the competition. It does take a lot of 'guts' to do so. But he did the right thing. For all the right reasons and no matter how difficult this must have been for him, he made the decision on the spot to step off the ice. I shall never forget the sad expression on his face. It was this moment and the moment when Jeremy Abbot / U.S.A Figure Skater and his determination to stand up after a serious / dangerous fall / Quad Loop jump and continue with the competition. It was a tearful night. Two amazing skaters indeed making two major decisions on the spot and during Olympics.

So, 3 more days for me and Evgenia and our togetherness here in Coventry / England. Running has been good to me here and I have been able already to put my stamp in finding and claiming my running routes around here. It is all good!!!!!!!!!!
