If you want to add miles in your runs then get lost in the city. This is what happened to me today. In a way self-inflicted. It was an interesting varied/mixed run. Slow and easy at times, medium pace at other times and very fast for a couple of miles. Back and fourth on the same road trying to re-call the route around Dumfermline/Edinburgh. It was a wonderful adventure. My body felt a bit heavy and stiff from the tough mountain/hill run on Saturday but no pains and troubles at all just stiffness which is a natural affect. I am delighted and it almost seems that regarding breathing and hamstring probs I am on the road to recovery. So, hopefully now I can built up some distance and speed again. My splits:- 9:37, 8:27, 9:25, 9:10, 9:07, 8:46, last 0.73/ 6:43.
