This turned to be a 3 mile Tempo run. I started with a 2 mile easy pace and then run in a stronger pace up the hills and as I felt stronger I decided to go for a 3 mile Tempo. I did an approx. 8.15 pace per mile although I found it difficult to maintain same pace due to constant changing of morphology of ground. I worked harder than Tempo pace maybe an 85 % effort but I felt strong. I had to return home prompt so I knew I was not going to be able to put a long run factor that made me do a hard 8 miler instead. It worked out o.k as I feel I need to improve the cardio.
Foot is fine and CS out of the picture. So, I am running without perplex issues. Now I just have to build up speed and strength. Today was a freezing day but beautifully sunny and calm in terms of winds and rain.
