Today I said to myself that 11 min + per mile will keep me out of mischief and trouble. Initially I felt light and hopeful but soon right leg around soleus area felt pressure, tightness and I was also physically feeling very tired (working hard sleeping less etc). Put the two elements together the body could not feel comfortable. So, I realised that cardio and muscle work need to work together in order to avoid signs of CS again. Even at 10.29 pace (which is usually jogging pace for me) I was struggling. So, I had to 'bite my tongue' as they say and accept reality. After first 2 miles running I decided to stop and put a brisk walk for 1.5 mile and then run another mile easy at 11 + min pace per mile. It was so much easier and manageable. It will take a while before get there. I NEED TO TAKE NOTICE OF WHAT BODY NEEDS .......... I NEED TO LISTEN TO THE BODY. As for the foot fracture all is going well apart from daily morning stiffness which eventually tends to go away.
