Notes
My longest run in so many weeks. My Garmin let me down at 7th mile. So knowing the distance from where I was and guessing the pace back home I added the 3.5 miles too.
The run was overall good. Legs were just fine with no problems. I could slightly feel CS at lower parts of both legs but it was hardly noticeable.
I enjoyed most parts of the run apart from the fact that again I had to run amongst traffic and business. Not all the time but most of times. Distance somehow has taken a different dimension here is Dumfries. 10 miles it feels a big deal as I have to think hard where to go, how to combine loops and generally my mind is occupied with the process sometimes rather than going into a zone. In the countryside I felt I did not have to create the route as the road was following me and not me the road. So, at times, I find it hard to adjust. When I was running before I could go for miles without even realising or seeing things as my mind and body was bypassing them. I was wholly in connection and touch with inner self and not whether the traffic lights are red, green or amber and how to cross the road. I was in union with the universe but now this is intermittent and not coherent and fluid.
I do not like the fact that I have to run on pavements and busy roads. I may have to make the point whereas I drive away to run sometimes but it is tricky doing that in terms of time and weather conditions.
Enough moaning though as the main thing is that I can run again. And for this I am happy. Running comes a little bit easier now and I feel lighter which means I enjoy it more and it is more fun. All good so far but still have to be cautious with legs and in particulare with right foot.
