All weathers in one hour. The sun was going down as I was starting my run on the track. Then the sunset with the dusk to come and then the full round moon rising on the cloudy sky and playing hide and seek in the shadow of the clouds. So big was the moon tonight almost like a huge disk looking bigger almost than our planet. It was the moon to honor Des tonight. The moon came out for him. Today there was the farewell and final journey of Desmond Park / one of the oldest members of the club and the face of a runner I will always remember at all races. He run and run and he was only 77 yrs young / another victim to cancer. His wife a fellow student 18 yrs ago and his daughter an acquaintance for a long time. But Desmond completed the London Marathon at the age of 70 just a few years ago. He loved running. So, today my run was dedicated to him and to the running of the world. I went to say my byes at the Church service which was packed with people from all walks of life. But Des was almost shining next to the moon tonight, his spirit alive and amongst us.

I went into a zone in this run and there came the light and the darkness with hale stones and freezing cold weather. I could not feel anything on my physical body and all felt normal.

This run after all was dedicated to Desmond.

All felt minimal but also hugely magnified. Even the moon looked different tonight and the energies coming from it were creating almost a magnetic field with an amazing glow. My mother's soul was also there. How could she not be? She was there too.

Whatever all of us runners or the ones for us that are attached to running as a form of existing in themselves would know what it means to experience this.

So I was completed taken and self contended with what I accomplished tonight. It was more than words can say. Another run, another beautiful experience along the eternal journey!

This run was for Des tonight especially the last mile.
