Notes
This was a nice run in the cold icy snowy ground at 0 C. It was easy for most of the way running next to Frankie who went 1/2 mile further. It was then that the chase started as I went faster when he said 'I will look for the white spot' (meaning my white running top) on the way back. I never bothered to check behind me but I only turned once from instinct when I saw Frankie in red coming after me in the horizon. So, I thought to myself..........'Frankie you'll never catch LH now' and I took off since. I must have run an approx. 8 min mile for last mile as Franc noted in the end that he could not catch me and he was doing a 7:45 min mile. Amazing as it was I managed to run away and it was a game that caused some CS pains in the end but with no harm done. It was fun indeed. Now I am hoping that I will not pay the price for this in tomorrow's run. Compression socks seem to help the CS in this cold / freezing weather. It is nice to find an excuse to run a bit faster and fun.
