Notes

3 very difficult miles. I pushed the pace in the beginning of this run and I paid the price. It was an emotional mistake rather than the desire to run fast. I lost control of pace and awareness of how I was running. The next thing I knew was that my gluts and lower back gave me a tough time in the cold weather adding numbness on the right leg. This time I knew I had done my lower back. CS was pretty harsh too so the two evils together. At 1.5 mile point I longed to return home and I wanted so badly to walk. I kept going and when reached home I felt the bliss of trigger point work on my gluts in the safe hands of my Frankie and deep massage down the right inner leg where CS was thriving. It was so painful but so much needed that I felt human again. The same process was followed later in the evening and I am hoping that I will heal soon. The days that I could take off like a racing horse have by and gone and I have learnt this time the hard way. In running one does not think of the aging body, you only feel that it is going to get better.

It was one of my toughest runs and I was so...so needy to receive pain for the pain. WHAT A RELIEF THIS WAS!!!!! TRIGGER POINT WORK.
