Notes

The idea for this run was to go as long as I felt and run the first 3 miles as a warm up the next 8 to 10 miles (ideally 10) strong but following the body and the last 3 to 4 miles just treat it as a warm down. I run as I said for most of the way. The weather was atrocious again. Very wet and quite windy. I felt very strong for all miles but again at about 8th to 10th mile I tend to get indigestion. I have no idea what causes this as I had no power drink or sugar in my body. I had plenty of water and 3 hours prior to my run I ate two slices of toast with marmelade. This burning sensations and indigestion has started becoming a real problem for me. Feeling sick is the worse scenario. At 10th mile point I made a huge effort taking the Gu (Orange and Vanilla/Carbo) with plenty of water but I struggled to get it down. For a mile or two had to adjust to it but it upset my run all together and distructed me. Not very good. I need to find a way whereas I can have some energy without problems. My run was overall good but it is tough no matter how I look at it. It is always tough. CS was very mild and did not actually get in the way. Need to remain positive.
