Notes

Tough weather conditions today. Heavy rain and strong winds (50 m per hour). It was dangerous on the road because of the spray of the cars and heave traffic at times. So, I had to change my plans for the route I had initially planned (8 miles) to coming back half way and so I run an unplanned 11 miler up on the hills heavily beaten up by strong winds and heavy rain. For first two miles I struggled with CS and also my left foot had been taped by the Physio. I stopped at 1/4 mile and threw it away. I had enough of all this and decided to run free. From now on it is what I know for the marathon and not taken any new advice on what I must wear in my shoes or other. I shall go with what I know and after the marathon I can try this or the other. I was so worked up for first 3 miles but felt free up on those hills and really loved the rest of my run. When I finished I forgot to stop the watch while changing in the hospital toilets. My overall speed came to 9:36 per mile and that was fine. I felt fatigued in the end and my whole body was frozen for the heavy rain and I was soaked to the bone. Tonight, no matter the obstacles/pain and frustrations I run free and I loved it.
