Notes

I was tired today so a lot of effort was used to manage this run.

On the Red Track after almost a year. What a joy to run on a resurfaced track / brand new. It felt as I had springs on my feet despite the fact that I was physically extremely tired.

Evgenia was there too doing her off ice routines and also a few laps. Today she run on the road 4 miles and another 6 laps on the track + her skating hours + Off Ice training. What can I say!!!!!

The young running Club arrived while we were there and so it was nice to run among st the younger runners and very motivating with all positive energies. It kept my going. It is so good seeing young people running so easy and so fast. One forgets what being Young means at times. Observing them I could easily see who does it for joy and who does it for punishment.

I did interval work.

4 X 200 &

2 X 400

with a strong pace for the rest of miles. That was more than enough and am completely satisfied for the days' work. As for the track I need to run there more often as it accommodated my problematic foot / joint. I did not feel any pain tonight. The softness of the surface made it so much easier for me. I felt I could almost run bare footing tonight.
