I run with my Frankie but was in my own zone in a way. I started first for the first 2 min and my foot / toe joint was 'burning' and I really worried again. It felt odd and unpleasant to run for the first mile. Somehow I increased the pace to a faster pace as it was hurting less so to minimise contact with the ground. As silly as it sounds it took my mind of the pain. Franc was next to me and we carried on for first 2.5 miles together side by side.

I then decided to do interval on the cycle path, something that Franc had initially planned to do whilst I had planned to do a hilly course. Because I did not feel safe to go out in the wilds on my own with my problematic toe I thought that it would be better to stay near home. So, I started interval work every 4 poles with 2 recovery. When I measured distance with my Garmin it was around 80 m with 40 recovery. So, I did 12 X 80 with 40 m recovery. However, I run the entire course in a strong pace and to my surprise stronger and faster than had expected.

I was feeling tired prior to the run as we were doing a lot of boxing for the house move and felt drained. I did not expect to do this run and if it was not for Franc to say '''''''''let's do our planned run I would have possibly gone idle with tiredness today.

The Magic thing was after my run when I immersed my whole body for 12 min in cold water. I felt alive and my body felt as almost wanted another fast run. I have not had this for a long ...long time if not ever. I felt great and alive. So, from now on I will try to have a dip now and then.

This was an amazing run for me. Franc did not feel as good as had expected as they knee bothered him a bit and did not allow him what had planned. But tomorrow is another day and another week.

It is so good when things go well and when not it is good again because this is what is all about. If it was all good and easy we would not know the difference. At the end of the day the most important thing is to RUN.
