Notes

It was a tough run because I was physically tired today and still early days for body to adjust. My breathing was out of rhythm and those few pounds I have put on do not make running life easier. However, no moans or complaints as I would not take anything away from it. I treasure every step of the way and am greatful that I am back. The strange thing is I tried to adjust the pace to a slower one and it was more difficult. One thing for me is that any pace beyond 11 min pace and I struggle to run. It makes my breathing and whole running action more of a struggle. Only when injured or in pain makes me run slower. Otherwise I have not trained my body to run in slow mode. It feels more comfortable in an average sort of pace rather than slow and very easy pace. For some reason when running extremely slow although lungs better I feel all over the place and lose rhyth. And there is no worse thing for me but losing rhythm. I would rather work harder and be in tune than easier and not well co-ordinated pace. My best self-composed style/ pace in all my runs I had so far is when I run relatively fast and go into a zone.

The foot still feels not a 100 % as yet but there is no doubt that is getting better by the day. So, now I have to learn to wait but while waiting enjoy the journey.
