Notes

Today was a much hotter day than anticipated. I struggled with the heat due being out of condition which made it quite challenging for my run. I had very good first 4 miles and I felt strong up the ongoing hills of God. I felt so good that I had not realised that I was doing a 10 min pace per mile. However, at half way point I felt dehydrated and in a way weaker and a bit apprehensive for doing another 4 miles back home. 4 miles is a long way when you have not run in a while and you feel your body needs water to get going. I managed (I asked a glass of water on my way down the hill). I could not believe when I saw this guy holding a tray with cups of tea to the table in his garden. The family were more than happy to offer me a glass on the go and they even suggested to give me a bottle. Even more I was being invited to have a cup of tea but declined as if I had sat down to a cup of tea I would have never made it back home. So, almost on the go I carried on and finished strong the res of my run. Nothing tastes better than a glass of water when dehydrated.........not even a cup of tea.

So, this was a real 'Run' for me. Today I Run and run. 8 miles since the stress fracture on 24Th May on the very same course. So, today I beat the 'demons'. I feel so relaxed and happy now. And what more

Compartment Syndrome is not present. We shall see what tomorrow brings. I did not run fast at all I just run strong and with rhythm thanking God for All the Good Things that have been given to me. Up in God's HIlls there seems to be a special LIght so when I look up I can find God inside.
