Notes

This was one of the most enjoyable runs at an easy and effortless pace. Following yesterday's Park Tempo Run this came by surprise as I had not expected to perform this way in an such an easy flawless and rhythmical cadence. This was my 3.1 loop around River Nith + The Kids Dock Park Sunday Run. It was fun and I ran with and coached the 6 yr old young lady / Lucy to complete her two loops. She stopped at some point and when I saw her I knew that she had it in her. So, I approached her on the move and said, Keep it up young lady, do not stop just jog it. Then she started running like light and I said to her I will run with you all the way and we will catch up those other two young ladies ahead of us. She smiled. She was all there. I said to her 'raise your arms' and you will go faster and she did. Well Lucy did the entire course in running and jogging motion, her breathing sounded fine and she went with a sprint for last 50 mt raising her arms high. What a Joy watching her. Her Dad was at the finish line thanking me for helping out. He said she has been running the Dock Park Run a year now. I said, next time Lucy you should take your Dad for the run.

This is an honourable 167 Ron Hill Mile + 5.2 for today. I feel happy and excited as my knees and arthritic joint behaved and allowed me to enjoy today's run.

As for Frankie he did his running duties by volunteering in helping out with the Kids Park Run.

It is great all around. The best Sunday Treat. . . . 'Having a 6.2 mile run for breakfast' makes my soul smile -:)
