Notes

The Ron Hill Mile + 3.2 miles.

Wild and wet weather again with strong winds. This was a joint run with Franc who is recovering well from his PF injury. The morning Dock Park Run for the kids was a bonus! It is fun seeing the kids running and coaching them on the move. A young girl was leading today. How exciting! Kids run naturally and it All looks so easy.

Today my physical body was good to me in comparison to yesterday's run. Still a bit stiff but no problems with the knee or the arthritic toe. It allows me to run but it is tough walking at times. Our bodies create mysteries sometimes and it almost feels we are looking for clues to understand what is going on. Been a runner helps to take notice of all body parts and little niggling. One has to pay attention to them all otherwise it can be bad news.

Today I have exceeded the 88 mile barrier for over the last 6 months and since Dec 2016. I have officially run more miles per month since and the month is not over yet but it is also a short month too. So, it is All Great and the only thing I can say, is that The Ron Hill Mile has taken me a long way. . . . . . . . . . -:)

Tomorrow is a special Day 'Καθαρή Δευτέρα' for Greek Orthodoxy and Christianity. The beginning of the Lent (Νηστεία)! With that in mind there will be another Chapter and for the first time since 1989 I will be able to be in Greece for Easter. Looking forward to this and also to be running on my homeland.
