Notes

I called this an interval workout. It was spontaneous work. It was sunny and I was running by the river side near home. I did not want to run on roads and / or far away from home. So, I compromised with back and fourth on a 800 approx. stretch of the river bank.

It felt good and I was inspired by a young runner who was running so light on his feet. It became like a game when I decided to overtake (my competitive side is still alive)! He smiled nicely and I did the same. The knowing smile, as one would say. We runners recognise this and read in between the lines. We do not have to explain. It was motivating and he took over and then I took over and it was not really a big deal but moving forwards with motivation. All good. We all get energies, positive energies from things life that. Awakenings of our running soul.

I run well and strong but I do know my running days are going to be over in the coming months. My foot tells me that not during running but randomly. So, I am getting emotionally prepared to deal with this when time comes. It will hopefully allow me to run for another 14 weeks. This is all I need up and until I do my race in the Holly land of my birth village Stoupa, on 5th July. This is what my heart desires. And I will get there, it is meant to be.

Till then I will have to do the work and I am prepared for it more than anything. Stoupa, I shall be back in your arms again, mermaid of Mani is what Stoupa is known for. The most beautiful place on the planet. Well on 5th of July I shall have another swim after my race in it's waters.

My aim is to get faster this year even a second faster will be good no matter the humidity levels. It will be tough but I will be there.
