A very tiring run round and round the track. I pushed myself to do this run. It was tough again not as much as the other day but still took a lot out of me. Now I tend to occupy my mind with music and various thoughts to escape the physical pain. I am getting better and better at it. One day I will be so tolerant to pain that it will not matter any more. Do I do damage to my body? I question this at times but my body needs to run and my soul does too. So, hopefully I am doing the right thing.
I did the 5 + miles on the track.
I also did an extra mile running backwards on the track. That was interesting as I felt I was working different muscles and calves and hamstrings felt good. I was also pretty fast. It is interesting watching runners back to front or better facing them running backwards. It felt so funny. But body seems to respond well to this.
