Notes
It was meant to be an easy run but felt as one of the toughest. I was early up . . . . too early!!! 5:30 am. I was meant to run first thing in the morning but did not have enough time. So, it had to be an last afternoon run and I was carrying the tiredness of a Friday's work. Thank God is Friday.
Anyway, the run was still enjoyable although I had to put a lot of effort for most of the time. On the long steep half mile hill my legs and quads felt really tired. I kept it up. Somehow, hills seem to be an awakening for my body. This is something I am now getting used to it. Hills keep me going.
So, I kept it up and for last mile I chased one male runner who was running up on the last final mile. I could not believe when I looked at my Garmin that my last mile was an 8:25 pace per mile. This put a smile on my face and instilled confidence in me for my coming race. After all bad lack cannot go forever. At least I deserve at least one race to have. Just a descent race!!!
