Notes
It was a run inspired by the Coach's 50 miler day. I made the decision to go easy and try to maintain an even pace as much as possible. I just wanted to enjoy this run and not push it even if I felt strong. I started a good hour + before Coach would and so I was well warmed up by the time I was approaching 8 mile when he started running . It was funny but I managed for few minutes to stay in touch but he then disappeared. At about my 11th mile he came back again but I could make no connection any longer. I felt good and I knew at that point he was running well.
Then I had to deal with my affairs. Although I felt great throughout the run both soles of the feet on the outer and inner side felt tight. I am a bit worried about this because this is what I was feeling prior to the fracture back in May time. So, I was well aware of placing the feet on the ground and was listening for all cues and signs intensely. I felt good, my breathing was good and the whole run felt easy in a way.
There is no doubt that I am getting slowly into shape but I am a bit apprehensive with those funny aches and stiffness on the feet. I, however, tend to recover quickly the day after.
