Notes
The pace tells the story by itself. An average 11:39 min mile on the track. CS pulled me down but I won because it did not stop me from running my two extra miles. Mind over matter I said to myself. I had to exceed in a small way and I did. Every round felt like a 5 miller and every mile like a marathon. But I have been there and I am not going to give up now. Tonight I won the battle of CS and this will keep my running going. Fracture is healing well and at least I now know who is my enemy. I have been through pain and I know what real pain is. CS is just a temporary setback. In the end I will win and stand proud at the end of the Athens Classic Marathon finish line in 2012 looking up to God again as it happened 4 yrs ago and thanking for allowing me to run Athens again. I will not allow fear to come into my running. If SK and so many others have defeated fatigue, hunger, illness etc I can then manage to run in my own way. God will help me to do so. I BELIEVE!
