Notes
Today's run turned to be a special one in its own unique way. It was not the speed or the will for the tough workout but the feeling at some point that the physical all of sudden became secondary to the emotional and spiritual experience. Then this is what normally happens the body follows with the recognition that all it matters is that will become just the vehicle for the soul to enjoy the fly. Music today gave the Lady H wings. From step one I decided to run a fast course. The day was beautiful and the hills were glowing with the bright sun in horizon. It was slightly windy but not cold. It was a magical day. I run the first miles fast but then got even faster with the last mile working really hard. At 1/2 point the song "Sleeping Sun" one recommended by the Coach came on and at that point I felt so free inside up on those beautiful hills. For several seconds I almost felt so happy that I was so close to God. Then beautiful Greek songs followed with beautiful music that speaks to my soul. Every song had to offer something special.. It was not the speed or the desire to run fast it was something beyond and above that. It was the combination of rythm of movement and the experience of feeling light. What can I say? I have experienced this before but every time for certain seconds I am filled with bliss. Beautiful run, beautiful day and this is what really keeps me going. Today I could not have given any less.
