Learned a lot. Aerobic system needs to get stronger. I have to keep gradually building it up. I went out in the front and was unable to mentally and physically move with the pack as they started to go at the mile. Came through in 4:51. I have the 5k next week and its my goal to break 16 or run an 800. Stay tuned. I know its not an extremely lofty goal but I feel its a good mark to strive for. I also know my leg needs a bit more strengthening work as it began to fell weak during the effort. Im taking each meet and race a little at a time. I find it hard sometimes to be running so much slower than I was capable at one point but I have to take it day by day and just be happy that I am running. I love this sport and I love this team and I am thankful to be apart of it.
