Aw yeah. Amazing what a rest day will do! I feel like I'm learning to run again, starting from scratch. This time around its much easier, though. Finding new muscles, gears... running itself feels good, not just the accomplishment of running.

Although I only made 6 days, not 7, it still kicked my mileage up and I'm feeling very good and ready to try again this week. I'm thinking I might vary two days though, give myself a mid-distance and a super short day. Nothing too crazy, maybe something like 6, 6, 8, 3 (or 4), 5, 5, 5 (or 6). Still trying to make 40mpw, might hit it but will focus more on the consistency of 7 days, even if I have to take a 1 or 2 mile day (for some unforseen godawful reason).

I've also been doing all of this without the benefit of caffeine. Its hard being around it all day, but the headaches were killing me.
