THIS JUST PLAIN SUCKED!!!......Poor nutrition..........I burned 6000 calories on the bike which led to disaster on the run.........the first 7 miles were fine........I knew when I took off for the next loop it was going to suck........I should have just stopped or turned around to save my legs..........I need more nutrition on the bike and salt tabs and maybe a banana for the run..............so pissed at myself...........well got it out of the way now 4 weeks out so I know what I hopefully can change..........should have grabbed a gatorade and pounded it at the water stop......and salt tab..........recover finish training taper and crush the Ironman!

Lessons learned.......

More fuel on the bike better plan of attack.

Maybe a solid food like banana.

Start out slower on the run..........its a long 4+ hours and I can not hurt like I did at mile 9!!!!!!
