Very happy with this race, but I think I pushed a little too hard in the middle miles. Got passed by four guys on the big hill on mile 10. Passed 2-3 of them back on the following downhill, but then really felt it the last 5k. Really, really tough effort. Heat got to me toward the end.
A PR at altitude...I'll take it.
Gorgeous scenery, par for the course in Moab. Race organization was good, but the buses arrived at the start way too soon -- 5000 people were left sitting around freezing for an hour and a half before the start.
