Awesome run, PB as well. Started out with Guy and Taylor, ran well with them for about 3 km, then pulled away. Started running 4:10 down the hills and catching other runners. Passed a big group and stayed about 30 metres ahead of them, then when I started to feel a bit tired at 22km, I slowed down and joined the bus. Ran very well with them as they talked and picked my spirits up. Started to run comfortable under 4:30. After the turn at somerset west, I started to realise that it was only 14km left, and I had plenty of energy. I stayed with the group until 33km, and then decided to push. Managed 4:10 on the flats, and tried not to waste too much energy on the hills, then back down at 4:00. Very strong finish with running at sub 4. Happy with time, as it was lower than 3:10, and a PB.
