IPP

Notes

Woke up this morning tired, but legs felt pretty fresh and it being my birthday made my mental game very strong today. Went out to Blackwell where we would start our long run and go through St. James Farm and onto the IPP. For the first 2 miles my calf was stining and just really bothering me and I thought if this is how my calf was going to feel the whole run that I wouldn't be able to make it. Luckily once we got onto the IPP the pain just magically went away and we naturally picked up a bit, I felt super smooth and it being shaded helped me stay smooth. We went out 40 mins and then came back, then did some loops around Blackwell till we were done. Legs didn't really feel heavy until mile 14 or so so it was a overall pretty good run, I really enjoyed getting to run on the IPP as it was my first time and probably my all time favorite place to run on now (WWS is so lucky). 6xBlackwell hills after and those felt alright, was able to crank out a couple but the first few were a little slower. Overall good day and I perfer this way of doing hills rather than doing the hills after a tempo on a Wednesday.

Good feedback on this workout. We will keep this pattern for a while.
