Notes
Well I set a pretty high standard wanting to run sub 2:40. Training harder than I ever have in my 50’s, always on the edge and tired. Only a couple of bumps along the way. My legs just didn’t feel as rested as they should but I decided to go for it any way. The Periformis was nagging me but tolerable very annoying on the up hills. At 10k I felt a slight pain in the quad, as the miles progressed it became worst. Around 16 miles is a big downhill where it just gave out . I limped for the next 2 miles at 6:20 pace then stopped at 18. Everything was on the right leg…
I messed the watch up and so in the first mile messed up but corrected.
