Notes
This was my best run to date on this course. My legs felt good from the beginning, and I was pretty sure I had a good one going when we were through the first mile in 5:35 and it felt easy. I took it cautious up the hills (maybe too cautious?) and hit halfway at 28:40. The third place finisher (Geno) gapped me on the big hill in the middle, and I tried to run him down the whole way back, but he and Geoff Musick were doing battle. I wish I could have bridged the gap to them, as they ran 56 flatish.
I really tried not to push it too hard and enjoy my fitness. I think that put me in a relaxed state.
It was hot and humid as usual, so this is a good run. Finished fourth overall.
