Notes

The knee still hurts during run, so I didn't even warm up before race, and I opted to start far back to make sure I will take it a bit easier after start. I still did end in proper race tempo after like 400m. The performance is already a tiny bit affected by the 5 week training pause, but not that much probably. I just can't expect any PR improvements this year anymore, but if I enter the winter training in this status and the knee will heal fully, next year can be interesting. Except knee the race felt quite good, too much sun didn't overheat me, and I did felt for first half that I'm taking it a bit easy (like very very sharp half marathon, but not even 10k tempo). After 5th km I realized I was actually pushing much harder than I thought, and last part of race was ~10s/km slower as I was too lazy to push hard, and knee was going from mild to medium pain slowly. Still I quite enjoyed it, breathing was fine, muscles in core did hurt on last 1-2km, but not much. Style was not as wonder-smooth as it sometimes is, but still ok.
