Put in some short run to test the calves. Still some dull pain on the left calf, close to the upper tendon. There seems to be some lingering issue with my left calf after it got torn 5 years ago. Will put some short run again before Sun if my left calf permits...

Did the Kipchoge drill (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-areHvwCZc) that I found in a runner's blog (https://www.all-out-running.com/entry/Kipchoge/strength/training) for a while (~30 min or maybe close to an hour) Sat night. Both calves started to really hurt Sun night or Mon morning. Right calf almost OK now after complete rest for 2 days but not the left calf. Lesson learned. Never do new things close to a race...
