Completely deteriorated during the last 3 miles. Got passed by 35 runners while passing only 3 from mile 25. The weather was absolutely perfect, in the 50s all the way with some tailwind. I should have simply followed the 3:20 pacer...
The goal for next marathon will be just negative split. The guy sitting next to me in the plane to Austin convinced me of that.
Also met Stephen Muange who finished 4th for the half marathon. He was also the winner of 3M half this January.
A guy picked me up and drove me to the start line when I was leaving the motel. Just grateful.
