Notes
During the 4th mile a neighbor lit a firework mortar off, about ~75 feet from the road. The initial launch sounded like a 12 gauge. I flinched (significantly) and wondered for a second if it really was a gunshot. I didn't see anyone in the area. 3 steps later it exploded 50 feet above. I flinched again and threw my arm up over my face. Absolutely convinced that in the next split second I'd be hit. I don't know... maybe June 22nd is playing a bigger part in my health/running/life than I first suspected.
Whatever the case, running was much better this week.
