Met the goal today, but it bears repeating... pace v effort is always concerning at this point. Today I ran 7 of the first 8.5 on limestone, and then miles 12.5 to 14.5. It was also 14-15 degrees warmer this year v last. Today I took gel every 3 miles the first half, every 2.5 - 2.75 the second half. I took 2 hammer electrolytes before I started, 2 more halfway. No stomach issues, but I noticed some calf cramping around 18 and more significant cramping around 19. Need cooler weather and possibly more electrolytes.
