Notes

At 3.09 miles I stepped on a large stone and significantly twisted my left ankel. It was to the point that I momentarily thought it was broken. The second thought that popped into in my mind was which way is the shortest to get help? Out to Riverside or back to West Main? After gimping around for 10 minutes I tried to jog back east. It was suprisingly less painful than I expected. I made it back fine with help from the tailwind. It's swollen now but I might be alright to jog again tomorrow. The lesson: Stop watching the deer in the woods and start watching where you're going. On another positive note, I I had forgotten how fantastic a headwind feels at 20 degrees.
