Notes
The plan was 5 up, 8 at pace, 2 down. Pace, at least at this point in the cycle, feels very difficult. It was especially difficult bucking the west wind for the first 4 at pace. I stopped after the first 4, rested for 2 mins, and then ran a couple more easy miles into the wind. I turned around and felt good enough to run a few more at pace. The tailwind made the pace feel more reasonable, but still not as easy as it should. All said, this was certainly acceptable at this point.
On a side note. Sarah was diagnosed with a significant femoral stress fracture today. No MRI needed, the doctor could see it on a standard x-ray. Major, major bummer.
