NCT near Fife Lake. Deer flies the first 3 miles of this were fucking awful. No clue why. There were NONE anywhere after that point. This run was hard. I fell apart. Took a long break at 10.5 and another at 12.5, It was a chore* to get back to the car. All that said, The section along Twenty Two Creek named "Valley of the Giants" was awesome. The pines were... big. It was very scenic.
