Notes

This morning I opted to throw batting practice to Tyson's travel team in GR for about 90 minutes. My quads still haven't felt right since Tom King. I could feel the fatigue when I was both throwing and when I was doing all the bending and squatting picking up baseballs. None the less, putting off the 20 until after lunch was the only decision.

The thought here was go out easy, inch the pace down starting about 10 miles, run about 4 miles at pace (16-19), and then jog it in. I got impatient, really from go. I felt pretty good at about halfway. I thought I'd be able to meet the goal even going out too fast. Didn't happen. I had to regroup at the beginning of 17. Mile 19 was kinda fun though.

I've been trying to structure this Boston prep similar to Indy in 2021. This run looks a lot like 10/1, only much faster. I think that's good.
