Notes

First collegiate track meet. I definitely do not belong with these guys for these shorter distances. Good for training purposes though. I actually led the race for the first 2 laps until everyone came barreling past me. My first lap was at 5:00 pace. whoops. The first mile was only a touch fast though at 5:30. I learned my lesson about pacing a 5k though because I hit a major wall. After about halfway I just wasn't into it. I felt awful and I didn't want to be doing it. It was impossible to quit since I had the whole team and my coach watching me, but my lungs were jumping out of my chest and I definitely couldn't keep my pace. I almost threw up immediately after finishing.
