this was TOUGH! I felt great though! I was really glad that I got myself to go to the pool and get a real workout in. I didn't even decide that I was going to make it a real workout until after I had already started. I was really pushing to try and make 4:00 for 250y, and when I hit the wall and read 3:46, I couldn't believe it. I tried to relax into the next one but still hit 3:50. I kept hitting these really fast times, and the last one was the fastet at 3:45 flat! Super encouraging saying that 7:35 is my current 500y time. I think I could beat it if I tried right now. I was definitely panting hard throughout this swim and had to resort to breathing every 2 strokes. 1 x 500 warm up set 6 x 250 @ 4:30 cycles [3:46; 3:50; 3:51; 3:50; 3:47; 3:45] 1 x 250 easy cool down (5 minutes)
