Indianapolis Monumental Mile
I wasn't really feeling like doing this right before the gun went off. I was really glad I was there for the atmosphere of the race, but I wasn't up for the pain to come. I still ran right up to the potential I should have ran giving my current Vdot though. I took the first 1/4 too fast around 71s or so, and hit 1/2 in 2:29. I didn't feel like I slowed down, but I forgot that my second quarter was already 4 seconds slower than goal pace. I also didn't kick super hard at the end; I just maintained my effort to not overdo it.
