Not proud of this marathon. You can see where I dropped off. The first 719 was a pee break. Then I started slowing a lot. Then I eventually started walking occasionally. My legs felt fine, it was just so hot that I was having trouble breathing. I also cramped up a lot, presumably from drinking too much. GPS is off by .2. Pretty accurate considering it is 3+ hours, but I still would have liked it to be closer. Definitely went out way too fast, just like last year, and died. There are just so many people and getting passed by 3000 people kind of sucks. I should have started further back. I'm still amazed that even then boston was fun. Just so many people cheering for the entire thing. When I stopped random people would start chanting my number until I picked it up again. Who knows how slow I would've been without that. All in all, I was on pace, relatively for about 20 miles off of 40 miles/week training. Not bad. Don't like that I walked, but it'll happen. All the signs saying pace yourself and walk probably didn't help.
