Notes
It was way too hot for this run. I was dying almost immediately, and my shorts were drenched a mile in. I felt pretty good though, or as good as I expect. I like the idea of pushing the day after a long run. I think it will help me get more used to long runs and I'll stop thinking of them as a huge deal. I really build it up, which makes me skip a lot of Sunday runs because it seems crazy.
I clearly slowed down right around where I could have cut the run down to 6 or 7. So that may have been a subconscious thing. Or it could be because there is a lot of stops after the first half. I might switch my watch to stop timing when I stop.
My shoes are pretty solid still, so I think I made the right choice.
