Notes

The distance of this was off. My watch said it was 13.7. I trust running ahead and the map I made more than I do my watch. It was raining, which is the best thing I can come up with for why it was so far off.

I felt a million times better than last week. For the middle 7 or so miles I was freezing though. The combination of wind and rain made my hands extremely numb. I tried to keep flexing them, which maybe helped a little, but they didn't warm up until it stopped raining, for the last 3ish. Other than that I think I ran pretty well. The intervals seem to agree with me, but I don't trust all of them either. It's still nice to have a watch. At least I have a final time so I know my overall pace. It is really right where I would like it to be. Next week I'm going 16 or 17, so it's good that I felt fine. I'd prefer to run with someone else, but gabe and josh were busy or gone and they're the only people close by that I can think of to do a long run. Next week maybe.

I ran over 50 miles last week. Looking back, I haven't done that since 2011ish. So kudos to me. Probably shouldn't have jumped into it but what the hell. 30ish more days until the marathon.

UPDATE: Gabe pointed out that I should compare the maps, as he remembered we did this before wrong. I thought I already had, but there is a small difference, instead of going down clark you go down some side street at the 5ish mile. I still think this distance is wrong, because of the randoim 8 minute miles, so I'll map it out to get the actual distance. Mapped it out and it is 14.09 so that is still a fairly large difference, but not as bad as I thought.
