Ran in the woods today. Didn't expect to go as far as I did, and I possibly didn't. But then again i might have gone farther. I ran in the woods so I didn't, and will never know the distance. I did get the time. I assumed that I ran slower than i usually do, both because it was in the woods and because it was so long. On the other hand, the first 5 which I could measure were right around seven minutes if not faster, so maybe I ran longer. I hope not, because this is already much more than I have ever run or ever wanted to. Still it is good to know i can run this far. When I came back, I went for a swim right away and it started to rain. I am glad I got out of the woods before it got dark. I ran an out and back at the deer reservation, and ended up running out a bit too far. The trail waas nice. i had already run 6 miles by the time I got there, and it followed the river. I got down to the vocational school, which had a track. Up until that point I had no idea where I was. Crossed under 93 which was cool. Ironically, I didn't see any deer in the reservation ( the deer reservation) but right when I got out I saw two deer on someones lawn, both with small antlers. I've definately written too much, but I'm slightly excited having run so far and probably have a "runners high"
